Ballon d’Or won by Argentina team

It is one more good news for Argentinian that Ballon d’Or won by Argentina Football team for third successive year.

One of the famous Football icons Lionel Messi was awarded the 2011 FIFA Ballon d’Or at a sparkling ceremony in Zurich. Messi has won Ballon d’Or prestigious award for the third time in the consecutive years.

Messi told yesterday that, “it’s a great personal pleasure for me. It’s the third time I have won it. It’s just an amazing honor. I want to thank everyone that’s been involved with me. I still have this dream and that is to be a World Champion and lift the Copa America with the national side”.

Lionel Messi becomes the second players who have achieved this success after Michel Platini.
