There is news in India that famous social networking site Twitter may face issue to block its service in India. There are couples of fake accounts in the name of Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in Twitter, Indian Government realize that those account misrepresent the Prime Minister’s Office issue. Few social networking sites including Twitter let feel the issues combustible including Assam riots. The main point of the confrontation against Twitter is suspecting fake account of PMO which imitate the PMO.
However, as per news, web developer has not taken any action to close its service and operation. Twitter’s servers are not in India, however DNS server only able to control or block in India. Though Government take any step to block DNS of Twitter, still Tech expert can re-route to another DNS server or use another proxy server.
Earlier, Indian Government already filed few cases against few social networking sites and other popular sites where few webpage contents were removed. There is no issue in India for Social Networking website unless they violate the terms of cyber law. Famous social networking sites like Facebook, Google plus, Twitter and others are closely monitoring for safety purpose.
