After a long time, I got an opportunity to blog / write, especially on Sunday. I will pen down sorry type down for one of the stories among many in my mind. So, here you go for one of them right now.
Long ago, a boy was doing timber business and unable to control the workflow, he added the workers but still not enough for its operation despite business and revenue were increasing. He found an old man who was a stranger in his area, used to often approach this young man and asking for a labor job for daily bread and shelter. This young gentleman didn’t agree him immediately, and after few days this young man accepted him to join in his business for routine labor work.
This gentleman was somewhat angry person since he was a young blood too. Sometime it is unavoidable that he used to shout this old man for doing some silly mistakes in his routine work. Sometime he used to ignore and control this old man’s mistake and sometime not. Never mind about human being. The days were going on like this and the young man used to pay him daily wages for his labor work.
This old man used to stay round the clock in his timber shop only and spent whole day with work, and spent night over there for security, relax and sleep as this old man have no shelter and family as well.
Few months gone like this, and one fine day this old man did a big mistake on his regular work where the young boy severely shouted on him without considering his age or weakens etc. This old man started to cry for it and he told the young man that I am not the person as you think, I was from a good family but unfortunate things happened in his life few decades back that affecting him still, after listening this, this young man asked him what about and whereabouts his background etc. This old man said I was from a reputed family from so and so place and missing all alone from the childhood. So, neither education nor family around to save him in this age and spent few years everywhere for daily bread and shelter.
This young man asked more detail about this old man, he then replied that when he was around ten years old and had partition happened between India and Pakistan, he then had to move from India to Pakistan with his two elder sisters all alone. By the time travelling from one place to the other, there was a sudden tragedy and stampede where he had to unfortunately miss his sisters and vice-versa then hard to find them back till date except following the crowd at that time, life and impact was natural at that time and it continues till date.
This young man asked more detail about him, the old man said his name and then his two sisters’ name. Now, this young man came to know the whole story of the old man, this young gentleman also came to know that this old man is none other than his own uncle for which his mother (recently died) used to often cry remembering him who (her brother) missed in a stamped during partition. Sometime human ignorance on a right track happened out of control. This old man also came to know from this gentleman that the other sister also died few years back.
Between these two men, status, love and affection changed and increased.
Now, the young man behavior changed by calling him as ‘uncle’ instead of an ‘old man’, the different status came just because of unknown to known.
